Hautapu Sports Club are starting a Monday night netball competition for year 7 and 8 players for the 2025 season.
The competition starts on Monday July 21, 2025.
The club sees the Monday competition as an opportunity to support the growth and development of the wider community, and in particular, the year 7 and 8 netball players, some of whom will be entering the AIMS Netball Competition for 2025.
Competition details
Venue: Cambridge Netball Centre, Scott St, Cambridge.
Game nights: July 21, July 28, August 4, August 11, August 18.
Game times: 5.30pm, 6pm, 6.30pm, 7pm.
Team entry: $120 (entry to cover court hireage and the balance to go to the Hautapu Sports Club netball court redevelopment fund).
Format
- Each team will play 2 x 20-minute games every Monday for five weeks.
- Each team must provide an umpire.
- Teams can be mixed Year 7/8*
*Teams with mixed boys/girls to follow Netball New Zealand guidelines — NNZ recommends a maximum of three boys playing on court at any one time, one in each third.
