ROUND-UP: Winning form continues for Hautapu’s senior rugby sides

Hautapu Sports’ three men’s sides are all in the top three of their respective Waikato Rugby competitions after another weekend of wins.

And the Women’s Premiership team continued their improvement, losing a competitive game 29-23 at Melville.

The Premier A side started the weekend well with a Friday night win against Waipa rivals Te Awamutu.

Playing under the Albert Park lights, Hautapu scored three tries to their opponents’ sole touchdown, leaving Hautapu in second place on the ladder.

On Saturday, the Development squad beat Te Awamutu at Albert Park, scoring six tries in their 34-18 win.

The Hautapu U-21s stay unbeaten and top of their competition after a 32-17 win at Suburbs.

Next weekend, all four Hautapu teams play at home for the first time this season.
