Hautapu Sports have had a day of mixed fortunes in their latest round of senior Waikato hockey competition.
The Waipa Civil Hautapu women’s team drew 3-3 in their first game in the Women’s Reserve 2 competition, after earning promotion from Reserve 3.
The Te Miro Water Hautapu men’s side lost 1-0 in a close Reserve 4 match with Old Boys, while the Woodcom Hautapu men’s team lost 5-0 to Old Boys in the Men’s Reserve 3 grade.
In the women’s Reserve 3 competition, the Evans & Co. Hautapu women were edged 3-2 by Swampfrog Old Girls.
Competition ladders have been re-set from Round 8, for games played on May 11.
