Hautapu Sports have had a generally successful day of competition in the latest round of senior Waikato hockey games.
After all four club sides won their games the previous week, the teams recorded a win, two draws and one loss to get May fixtures underway.
The Waipa Civil Women’s team beat Varsity Chicks in their Women’s Reserve 3 competition and will be promoted to the Women’s Reserve 2 league.
The Evans & Co. Women’s side drew 2-2 with Ngaruawahia, ranked second in the WR3 competition.
The Te Miro Water Hautapu men’s side drew 1-1 with Suburbs Junior Development, while Woodcom Hautapu men’s lost 3-2 to Suburbs Saints.
