Squads have been confirmed for Hautapu Sports Club’s senior teams for the next round of fixtures in the Waikato Rugby competitions, to be played on Saturday May 3, 2025.

In a tribute to his contribution to the squad, the club said: “Out of Hamilton Boys’ High School, Elijah joined the club in 2019, making his debut that year for our Premier side against Fraser Tech.

“In his first couple of years, he also played a lot for our Development side. He stayed committed to the club and has been a regular selection in our Premier side since 2021.

“Elijah has always been a consistent presence on the field, with a strong work ethic, determination, and commitment to the team. Whether it’s making countless tackles or leading by example, he’s earned the respect of his teammates and supporters alike.

“Elijah has been part of three Breweries Shield wins with the club, in 2019, 2020, and 2023.

“We look forward to celebrating his great achievement this Saturday when the seniors head to Matamata, looking to carry on their winning ways.”
